Orange Sheep moter park was great...
so simple to check in....
find your spot... fill in form, put money and form in little bag and put in the honesty box..
so amazing to be in your own private little rainforest
I would recommend and definitely return.
facilities were great... just need your gumboots if it is raining as the ground by the showers and toilets flood...

Now known as “Orange Sheep”, this site relies on self check in. It is quite a big site. Affordably priced. There is wifi but it was not reliable most times. The kitchen is very basic. Toilets and showers are okay. Go early for a spot as spaces get filled quite quickly (perhaps because of the popular area but limited camping spots).

On arrival we were left to our own devices to choose a site and leave cash in a bag for someone to collect later. We had to go for a walk through the property and choose our own site then hope someone else hadn't chosen the same site. Old and broken bits of furniture in some of the sites. It didn't present well at all. We left thankfully without bothering to check in and used another park nearby.

This is a great spot for campervanners. They have really made an effort to provide all the facilities needed and put thought into each site while keeping the cost very reasonable. Much much better than what was effectively a very expensive car park with facilities in Queenstown.

Nice place. Openair kitchen (just roove, no walls). Big minus - they charge for 0 years old babies the same price as for adults (17$). Better you'll go to the neigbour camping where you get much more for less: Spa Pool, Sauna, very nice kitchen with living room. Clean BBQ place with playground. Friendly staff.

It seems, that the Campground is under new management. The spots are small, but sufficicient. Bathrooms are clean, shower is free. WIFI works acceptable. The kitchen area is outdoors. All a bit rural, but sympatically.

New name: Orange Sheep
Found this campervan park absolutely ideal. $34 for two people in a campervan and well worth it. Has clean toilets and hot shower facilities, plenty of parking spaces for campers or cars with tents and beautiful views of the mountains in the background! The kitchen has a working fridge which was super helpful for us as our little Waeco kicked the bucket the day we got here. The new owners have set up wifi routers around the site to ensure everyone gets great wifi connection; helpful if you’re working on the road like me. Also a laundry on site for $4/load. Overall this place has great vibes, whether you’re looking to meet some likeminded fellow travellers or hang tight in your own space.
