Great site with large flat grass pitches, farm animals, good hot shower and loo facilities, plus lounge area.
Great evening walk to the waterfall and thousands of gloworms by the stream in the bush once it was fully dark. And Barbera has a few necessities available in Reception, and nice touch of welcome banana bread. A great place to stay.

A great smaller site behind the local pub.
Excellent clean modern shower / toilet block. Completely flat grass sites. Very open so not much privacy, but we were surprisingly the only toured on site that night. Only downer is the coin shower - 5 mins from coin going in whether shower is on or off - so you might need a same-sex friend on standby in the block to keep feeding the coins. All-in-all, very good.

Nice site on three separate levels.
Limited shower / toilet facilities on site, but plenty more below the Surf / Lifesaving Club. Lovely couple resident on-site managers. Very busy with day-tripping families, but quiet in the evening as access gates are locked.

Nice smaller site with fairly level pitches in bush setting.
Water and flushing loos, but no hot water or showers. Was half-full for our one night. Would be good to have another toilet or two. Many guys n galz on site were panning all day in the wee river right next to the site. All good.

Great rainforest site!
Open large sites for motorhomes. Very tight and cozy pitches divided by native plants for cars, campers and tents. Five mins walk to centre of FJ.

Good smaller site, as far north as you can stay near the Spit.
Site probably only 30% occupied mid January! Decent facilities and great lounge / kitchen / veranda seating areas. Good size private sites in lower area, larger open area for bigger vans. The beach / dunes are a good 20/30 minute walk away and there's a surprise in a wee café in the beach walk car park.

Fabulous site, not signposted off the main road.
Some fairly level ground, but mostly gently sloping, mostly grass but also on gravel beach or track. Shaded or open - some under trees. Good for all - tents, vans, caravans.
Long drop loos closed but plenty (about 10) portaloos and a couple of washbasins for pots n pans. No rubbish bins, so bring in - take out.Boat launch from gravel beach provides entertainment tho noisy jetboats towing skiers not ideal.
A few sandflies, but not too bad.
