No Camping next to the river and I actually didnt notice that the toilets are that close to the Campground and used the other ones there which were okay.
All in all a good opertunity next to Taupo ☺️

If I would have known how lovely this place is I would have come earlier.
There is a Glowworm Hike and Animals to feed. Unfortunately i didnt had time for both.
Good phone service with Spark and Wifi available (extra fee). 23$ per Night, 1 Person, unpowered and got a welcome-Muffin and animal food. Showers are included.

What a beautiful place the first, smaller one - seems like heaven in earth!
(If you like nature and being alone)
Long drop toilet still makes his job altough it’s one if the worst I saw… bring your own paper!
There where several vehicals there on weekends, but still amazing!
Notice: Parturau River Camp is still open, but without facilities and not that special than Anatori.

It‘s in the middle of the small Town where the street makes 90 degree curve!

Loved all the small spots in the rainforest. But be aware - its quite humid everywhere, especially when it was raining! My car needs some sunshine to dry up again ;)
Wifi doesnt work that good, but there is good phone service with Spark. Kitchen is without pots.

20 NZD per Vehicle (doesnt matter if one or two persons - third or more persons +10 NZD/p.p.) enjoyed the hot shower for 4 NZD and freewifi in the taverne next by - really friendly people here

Glacier Explorers
It was amazing!
😍 Altough or probably because I was disappointed at the first moment when I was at the Tasman Lake View Point (I expected blue water & white Glacier) - the Boat Tour was so awesome! It was really interesting to hear why it looks like it looks (grey water & stones Glacier). And of course the Glacier pieces in the Lake were stunning!!!

Stayed here - road & look Out hike were tricky but worth it.

What a view and it was quiet around the lake and enough space for privacy 😊
