The young man who welcomed me and explained where everything was couldn't have been more helpful and the young lady who was checking the kitchen was very polite and welcoming.
The site is in eady walking distance of the town. Although the pitches are quite close, I didn't find them intrusive. I thought the toilets and showers were spotlessly clean and beautifully presented and the shower was hot and plentiful. Just watch out for the ornate cast iron "bollards"
They can make manoeuvring tricky especially if your rig is well endowed....

What a lovely camping ground!
The pitches are well.placed with natural vegetation between them, so very private. The facilities were clean and the block I used relatively new and well kept. A five minutes' walk to the centre of the town ( Full of Beans is a great coffee shop and cafe) and right opposite the glacier adventures venue and information centre. Great spot!

Beautiful location and very handy for Cromwell.
Basic facilities but it is free. It's a large site but quite popuso gat there early for the best spots with lake views
