This is best value out, lovely owners and helpful man on site.
Quirky facilities but everything you need in kitchen, clean and free hot shower. Close to the road but by 6pm the road was quiet all night. Couldn't fault this place, not many pitches so advise booking ahead.

Roaring Meg Picnic Area
Great little overnight between wanaka and queenstown.
Not a great deal of level ground and wouldn't take many vans but we had it to ourselves and despite being by road the only noise at night is the stream which didn't bother us. It is on the right heading in direction of queenstown opposite side to lookout car park where you aren't allowed to camp over night.

Perfectly placed for seeing penguins and walking into town.
Staff helpful, facilities clean although only 2 showers but plenty of hot water and free.
Great place to view some penguins. We have 5 showers in total 2 women 2 men and one extra family/disabled which is open for all to use. Great you enjoyed having a hot shower :)

Lovely view, toilets well kept.
Sandflies in abundance, a lot of people arriving till late at night made it quite noisy.

Facilities looking old but very clean . Staff super friendly. Right close to town which is worth a look for the art deco buildings and also right by the otago rail trail

Lovely owners and bar for drink/food on site, live music one of nights we were there.
$20 for powered site, free for non powered, plenty of spaces. Facilities at the hotel for campers are clean and warm need 2x $2 coins for showers. 10 minute drive from Kaikoura peninsula.

Amber Kiwi Holiday Park and Motels
Excellently placed for seeing christchurch with a bus stop directly outside into the centre.
Despite being in a busy area it is a quiet, well kept site, with clean facilities and very helpful staff.
Thanks Helen for your comments, the bus to the CBD is very popular with our guests.

Difficult to find as no sign.
It's a gravel track on right heading away from Taupo just before Hatepe . Very quiet, good over night

Good position for getting ferry, just leave time for traffic if getting early ferry.
Site is quiet, clean with nice facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Bus stop only 10 min walk to get into wellington centre

Facilities nice and clean with extra small shower and toilet hut close to campervan pitches. Highly recommend.

Lovely site with helpful, friendly staff.
Thermal hot pools included and a great bonus just a pity that no hot water for a shower in afternoon, so wait till later or morning. Would go again and recommend

Best top 10 we've been too.
The wash room facilities are top notch, immaculately clean tiled, under floor heating, lovely roomy showers with lots of hot water. Plus the usual friendly helpful staff.

Ideally placed for trips to Abel Tasman, clean facilities, excellent value for money, staff lovely and helpful.
Lovely short walk to beach would definitely recommend if going to abel tasman
Hi Helen, thank you very much! We are not right on the beach, which does make us abit quieter, but it is a lovely 15 minute bush walk to the beach, store and water taxis.

Contacted in advance to hire bikes for the day.
Owner wasn't going to be there that day but happy to be flexible and we were able to pick up afternoon before. Bikes in good condition, panniers, trip computer, handle bar bag, repair kit and even torch for tunnel included in price. Good value for money. Would recommend

Euro Campers
We were unable to go on our trip to new zealand due to family circumstances but eurocampers were very helpful through the whole booking process.
They were informative, prompt to reply and when we needed to cancel were understanding and gave us what refund we were due immediately .
