Nothing special, just a city holiday park without any character. All the facilities are clean and tidy. The mens bathroom is old and needs an upgrade. The women bathroom is recently renovated. The playground is only one trampoline and one slide. Nothing to complain, except the price, 62,20 dollars for a family of 4, including 15% discount with kiwi membercard.

This place is perfect if you’re starting or ending your trip out of Christchurch. It’s close to town. The facilities are very clean and the staff very nice. Also a really nice cafe across the road. My only suggestion would be instead of taking a bus to town driver your camper and park it. It’s easier and cheaper than the bus.
Cosy small camp ground
Great to start or finish your tour
Bus stop in front to explore christchurch
We spent our first night ever in a motorhome at this park so it's hard to make comparisons, but with its manicured lawns and flowers everywhere, it seemed pretty awesome. There were cut flowers in the Ladies bathroom and a free hairdryer and everything was spotlessly clean and seemed like it had been newly renovated. Camp kitchen had great cooking options and my children enjoyed the Common Room. Everyone was in a camper, making the park extremely quiet. Owners were great, especially when we had trouble with our fridge not working properly. Would recommend booking ahead because it's quite small.
This was our first stay in New Zealand and having travelled for 40 hours from the UK we chose to have a real bed for our first night rather than stay in our van!
As our cabin was literally the first one in the camp and as we had our own shower and kitchenette we didn't really explore the camp facilities but the site looked clean and tidy.
On arrival staff were friendly and the room was clean.
Cost (2p, cabin): $75
Location: Good for either exploring Christchurch or getting out onto routes 1, 73 or 75. Supermarket within about 15 mins walking distance.
Facilities: Didn't really try communal facilities but facilities in room were good.
Facilities are clean and the side looks really lovely. All the staff members were really nice and helpfull. The bus takes you to the city centre in less than 10 minutes.
We came here after hiking in Authurs Pass, so by the time we got to Christchurch we were desperate for somewhere to stay. This place was much more compact than other Kiwi holiday parks, but still had a small kitchen and lounge (which weren’t open 24 hours, closing at 10 pm I think) Given the central location (and cheap price) these things are understandable and its a great place to stay. I imagine it gets busy, but they had an unpowered site available at 7pm on a wednesday night in late November. The lady at the reception was friendly.
