Beautiful place.
The view of the lake is amazing. The facilities are very clean and odorless. Good phone signal. The road to the campsite is a bit dangerous because there is no turning lane, so cars drive past you at 100km/h.

Quiet place.
Lots of grassy areas. It was written that after rain it can be dangerous to stay because the stream is very close. The facilities are very clean. There is a grill. No phone signal. We felt safe here. It is a free campsite with the possibility of donation.

Reservations are necessary. Because it fills up quickly. Three facilities with toilets and one shelter where you can wash dishes. Possibility to refill drinking water here. Many trash cans. Clean toilets. One bar 4G reception.

Beautiful view.
Very quiet place. Last 6km gravel, but in good condition. Main toilets closed, but as a substitute there are plenty of non-flush toilets. Which are quite full, but odorless. A bit windy, but you are by the lake. Good phone signal.

Quiet place with a few parking spaces.
Best option if you have a DOC pass and don't want to pay for expensive campsites. We spent two nights here and each time we arrived in the evening and a place was available. Two dry toilets. Good phone signal. The only cons was a lot of sandflies.

Good and quiet place.
Lots of space. One non-flush toilet. Toilets are clean and odorless. There are a lot of flies near the toilet. If I may advise, it is better to park further away from the toilet than to be locked in the car all day because of flies. Good phone signal. Every morning a ranger comes to check if you have a reservation.

We spent one night there. It was good. There were a lot of sand flies. Good phone signal. Toilets very clean and odorless. It fits 10 campervans. You can't book online, you have to register when you arrive on site.

Nice place.
You reserve a spot for a given number and arrive at a spot where there are no numbers. The last 10 km is a gravel road but in good condition. The toilets are very clean. You can wash your dishes in the sink. There is a phone signal but it sometimes drops out. There is a lot of wildlife at night so you can hear some sounds.

Nice and quiet place.
Plenty of parking on the grass. Clean toilets. Possibility to use cold shower and wash dishes there. Phone signal only near toilets. We spent two nights here when it was raining and had no problem driving away. They only accept online bookings, you can't make a reservation on site like in some other DOC campsites.

There are plenty of parking spaces. You can park either at lake number 1 or lake number 2. There is a 15km gravel road to the lake, but it is in good condition. It was very windy here. The toilets are clean.

Beautiful view.
Very quiet place. There is plenty of parking. Even in this season it fills up very quickly. The parking is in a cascade and the phone signal is only at the highest point. This is at the cost of it being a bit windier than when you are standing lower. The toilets are very clean.

Quiet place.
Lots of grass. We were afraid that there would be a problem with the departure after the rain, but you have to be a little clever and find a less wet area. There are also a few gravel spots. Clean toilets. Kitchen available without equipment. No signal, but there is free wifi at the shop at the entrance to the campsite.

Very nice and quiet place.
The cheapest option if you want to stay near Queenstown. $15 per person. Some places a little uphill, but you can also find a lot of flat areas. Clean toilets. Phone signal one bar 4G. Possibility to pay in cash at the gate or in the morning with a local ranger by card.

The last 5km gravel road, but in good condition. Before arriving at the campsite, be sure to check how to get to the campsite. The upper road to the campsite is closed. The last 100m leads through a locked gate, so you need to take the lower road. Own experience. Clean toilets.

Very nice place.
There is no view of the mountains or the sea, but they take good care of it. I think there are over 30 parking spaces. Toilets very clean. Possibility to wash dishes and refill drinking water. Nearby cafe, shop and dump station.Possibility to use hot showers nearby. In winter you need to borrow a key from a local shop for a $20 deposit. And you can go to a nearby swimming pool to use the showers.
