Wellington isite Visitor Information Centre
We are your ‘one stop shop’ for travel advice & bookings for Wellington tours, activities & accommodation. As an official isite, we specialise in travel arrangements for all New Zealand destinations. Better still, our service to you is FREE.
Our Visitor Centre is located on the corner of Victoria and Wakefield Streets, in Civic Square right in the heart of downtown Wellington. When you're here, come on in and view our comprehensive range of brochures, maps and visitor guides. We can help you book your accommodation, activities and even your travel by train, coach, campervan, rental car ferry or domestic flight.

While you're at the Wellington isite Visitor Centre, you can also pick up souvenirs and gifts from the Simply NZ store, e-mail your friends and family back home with the internet cafe facilities and enjoy Wellington's famous cafe culture at Nui Espresso.

Very good system with numbers for waiting on your turn!

Free WIFI around the city centre, well known staff, quick, uncomplicated, inside knowledge.

We booked the ferry to Picton there and they were really friendly and helpful, even when we had to organise some things.

30 minute parking but 1 hour wait in the queue, too crowded.
Only three attendants for hundreds of people.

Very crowded and no parking.
In general they are useful and nice people there. Good attention.

Lady gave us information after we really asked her too, threes times, she was unfriendly.

Friendly staff, you have to take a number, unfortunately they do not tell you where you can stay one night with the campervan for free or also with booking fee
