  • Très bon camping, très bien équipé.

    L'accueil est très bien organisé

Il est très bien situé proche du centre ville.

Tout est très moderne, le coût est en conséquence.

C'est idéal pour remettre le van tout bien propre et les occupants aussi.

  • Camping in The Anau which is not too expensive and allows a nice spot with a great showerand an outside grill in order to eat something else than pasta and rice....

Made great burgers there! Necessary stop on the way to Milford Sound and coming from Queenstown as the drive is pretty long.

  • Good location.

Clean bathrooms and kitchen area. Plenty of kids running around. WiFi worked well. Somewhat expensive for what you get or it would be a 10.

  • We stayed for 3 nights in a powered site.

I think the park is exceptional. The facilities are modern, clean, warm and very well appointed. Even the dump station was great, clean with handwashing facilities.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing site with views across the lake.

We got a winter special rate for $41.50 2 people pn (min 2 nights) which we thought was reasonable for the area and good value for the facilities. (A caravan park at Manapouri was quoting $100pn at the same time!)

  • I enjoyed my stay here.

It was pretty cold so the nice heated kitchen was lovely! The vibes were good here, other campers up for a chat in the communal spaces which was lovely.

Only part of the park was open in the off-season but it looked like there were more amenities blocks that would handle a full camp ground well. Showers were awesome- better than mine at home!

  • Had expected a large camp site right on the lake, but this one is across the street and vast majority of sites have no view in spite of the name.

Facilities are good, although hot water wasn't working in one kitchen for two days. WiFi is too poor to connect to on most of the property. Reception was dismissive and unhelpful when I inquired about other options after seeing how exposed the non powered sites were. Even though they fall short on the view and WiFi, they make sure to have a sign scolding you for stealing if you didn't register. Not tasteful. I stayed at 5 sites while traveling the south island and all the others were either spacious and scenic, or private with hedges. This place is more like a parking lot. I wouldn't camp there again.

  • Stayed here in a 1p motel room.

Woke up in the middle of the night to someone throwing up next to my window. Pots and pans not included, we arrived after office hours so had no tools to cook with.
