Great stars on a clear night.
A few cars / vans still arriving at 10pm, just about space for them. Lovely spot but busy

10 minutes out of town, single toilet was clean.
Back fence is good for sunset. Road noise ok. Very busy by 7pm with people still coming in very late at night, possible after stargazing tours.

It is fine, many places so you will always be able to find a spot. Nothing special but works for a night.

Big spot, room for maybe 50 vehicules.
Even if you get there late you could park in the middle. One long drop toilet with hand sanitizer.
I recommend parking the furthest from the road, close to fence, to enjoy the sunset but please don't park in front of the gate as farmer needs to get through

Stayed at beginning of April.
Ok for one night stay, toilet and picnic tables available. Wasn’t too crowded, bit noisy at night.

Handy spot near Lake Tekapo, with serviced drop toilets and a picnic table.
No other facilities. Recommend parking away from the nearby road, it can be noisy with trucks.

Good campsite on the way to Takapo.
Right off the main road, so a bit of noise but got to sleep no trouble. No thrills campsite, gets busier as night goes on. Only one toilet so a poo queue forms in the morning, nice clean toilet though.

It represents a gravel parking next to the main road with a lot of space for campers and vans. There is one drop toilet and no water.

Petit camping sympa facile à trouver car c’est sur la route de Tekapo Village, à 7 minutes précisément en voiture.
Au bord de la route avec des toilettes sèches. Les personnes arrivent vers 18h à peu près.

Toilet was clean. Just what you expect from a freedom campsite.

Man ist innerhalb von 10 min am Lake takepo.

Quite a few vans staying. Lots of space. Roundhill was once again amazing.

Nice little spot, only 1 drop toilet which was clean but smelt a bit, had toilet paper but no wash basin, beautiful views and plenty of room
