AMAZING!
We turned left just before the lake and you have a few spots there. This place is just perfect. Only 4-5 other cars when we stayed there. You can swim in the lake.

Lake Pukaki Overnight Campervan Parking
Amazing view but crowded.
You will always find a spot which is good but it is very crowded. 4 toilets are available but you’ll have to walk for 5’. Nice in the morning when people start to leave. The view is amazing!

Lake Poaka Campsite
Amazing quiet place!
If you are looking for a quiet place, unlike Pukaki’s campsite, this is the perfect spot. We stayed 3 nights. Huge area, close to a lake. There is one toilet only, which can be far depending on where you park so be self-contained. Gravel road to reach the camp but short and well-maintained. Can be windy but no sandflies.
