A lovely large grassy spot by the lake edge by trees if shelter is needed. Good toilets. Boat ramp used by locals.nice walks around the lake.
At the time we visited the water at lake Opuha had
potentially toxic algal blooms ( cyanobacteria) and warnings to stay out. Maybe shortlived
A peaceful spot .

Drove into the first camping (one with the toilets) spot which was totally jam packed so carried on to check out this place. Nice quiet spot to stay for a night or two in a self contained vehicle.

A good and quiet lakeside site. Not busy, only 1 other campa there, on a day when there were 30 tents and campervans visible across the lake at Bennett’s Road. No facilities so must be self contained.
