Nice staff in the store, a bit too much laid-back guide, a pretty tour on Lake Taupo to the Maori Carvings, price was ok, kayaks in top condition.

Fantastic park for riders with good bike skills.
Nothing for a learner who wants to have a little easy bike. It is FREE!!

Small camping ground with very clean showers, restrooms (all wooden) and kitchen, very private, and parklike grounds.
Hosts: nice older couple.

Old buses but good condition, on time, lot of pick-up times to choose of, the bus drivers gave you a good introduction, made the trip safer.

Good prices, good condition of the campervan.
Negative point: you have to pay certain things on standard insurance (eg flat tyre), positive point: in price included is the AA Roadside Assistance (24hr).

Kauri Coast Holiday Park Guided Kiwi Walk
Nice little walk through the Trounson Kauri Park at night to look at different trees and bushes and animals like glowworms, snails, spiders and of course kiwi.
A good chance to actually see one in the wild!

Very neat and clean Holiday Park right next to a river, nice outdoor kitchen, trampoline and flying fox, river with a swimming spot with floating tyres.

Kimi Ora Bike Hire
Good: Choice between fully/hard trail.
Good conditions of the bikes. Negative: the staff there don't know anything about the bikes. You have only the choice to hire the bikes between 4 or 8 hours - more flexibility would be great.
