Walking distance to New World supermarket, skatepark, public toilet which closes to protect it overnight from vandalism, quiet peaceful neighbourhood & friendly locals.

Just average! Place to pull up and spend the night. Toilets just a few minutes walk away. Stay here when the other 2 spots are full.
Each camping location is approved by a regional council in NZ. So if it shows on the map, you’re allowed to stay.

Very functional, nothing special. Parking backs up onto a tennis court and sports field. Toilets are a bit of a walk and were locked by 8pm, so we walked further to the isite toilets around the corner(open to 10). You end up here when island View Reserve is full. Potable water is very convenient though!

Pros: relatively flat, clean, room for 5 vans. Potable water tap. Trash bin.
Cons: toilets quite far away and locked up at dusk. Cruel. Loud kids playing think they own the property. Come here if the beach spots are full, which they will be.

A quiet grassy area right near the sports field, flushing toilets just around the corner.

A couple of minutes drive out of town - if you are into practising your golf perhaps you could make use of this spot
