  • Really small bays to park in.

Not really suited for motorhomes, but we managed. Stores and takeaway food really close by so that’s where this spot does gain points. There is a crossfit just meters away which had loud music going till midnight and then again from 7am, so not really a quiet spot. We stayed here a Friday night.

  • Ok spot but just a car park really.

Short walk to toilets (overnight ones are down towards the marina) and shops, as well as the waterfront. There is a laundromat machine. If you can, try for the other freedom camping spot in town which backs onto a nice grassy area and is closer to the water.

  • Quiet site in a carpark in town.

Close walk to new world supermarket with a laundrette by the carpark. Only three carpark spaces.

  • This place is fine if you are truly self contained (I.e.

your toilet is inside your vehicle). The only public toilets are locked when sun sets, and no water nearby.

  • Just a car park, public toilet aren't that far but if you are not self contained a policeman will wake you up at 5 in the morning to make you pay $200.

  • A rather uninspiring spot right in town.Good if you wanted to have a night on the town with a few bevvies and get home safely but that's about all
