Great view. Good toilet. Large site and quiet.
Nice cozy place. Next to the street but it's well hidden with trees so it does not bother you. Went there with a campervan and saw maybe 3 others as well. Lots of space. Toilets clean but no soap and of course no shower.

Beautiful views of the lake with well established trees. Lots of space and very quiet. Would happily stay here again.
Stayed here before heading to hobbiton in the morning (about 30 mins away). Lovely location, sat and had breakfast looking over the lake, was very peaceful! Toilets were fine.

Lovely spot, really quiet facing the lake. Lots of space. Toilet block clean. Thank you.
Stopped here for the first night in our campervan. Great site by lake with lots of space. Relatively busy but not totally full. Toilets perfectly fine. Helpful regular campers who helped us figure out some teething problems with our van and super close to Hobbiton!
Spacious green area next to the water. Swimming is possible in designated area. Clean toilets. No fresh water supply. Take your rubbish with you!
Great place to stay for free.
Nice location by the lake, lots of buses and school camps come here, one arrived in the morning full of school kids. Toilets are clean and area is well maintained.
Rally nice place
28/11/18 Great stop over location, plenty of room.
Waterskiing location, also good launching place for kayaking down to the glowworm stream, and for Hobbit fans Hobbiton is close by.
Toilets, we did not find drinking water or toilet emptying but thats ok. Also take your litter home.
06/12/18 We just had to come back to this location after been told about a great kayak paddle at night. From the site turn right and paddle down the lake for about 30 mins and on the other side of the lake marked by a buoy is a stream, paddle up the stream and when dark marvel at the glow worms all along the riverbank. For those without kayaks there is a local company offering tours.
Again a quiet evening on the site, couple of locals entertaining us water skiing
Toilets on site but no fresh water or waste collection
Be careful not to miss the turn off from the main road like we did.
A lovely area with plenty of space and views of the lake. Good spot if you're visiting Hobbiton, allow yourself about 30 mins drive.
Wonderful location looking over the lake. Very relaxing. Right place to stay before Hobbiton tour.
On the water so great view of lake with easy access to swim. Lots of space. Felt safe as there were other people around - at least 10 other campers and an active water ski club next door. I enjoyed watching the water skiers. I recommend this place to freedom camp.
