After reading all the good reviews for this site we decided to come here and we were not disappointed.

Nice little place by the beach, but…

At first anyway. Grant was very welcoming and the site itself is very well maintained and had a perfectly good toilet/shower available for campers.

When we arrived, there was one other caravan there but they left in the afternoon. Because they left late and because we weren’t told anything regarding „checking out“, we figured we’d wait for the bad weather to pass the next day and so we sat inside for 15 minutes, charging our devices. We then got kicked out following the words ”oh, you guys are still here. It’s past 2 now and I’ve got better things to do, so…“

Not the kind of interaction we’d expected. Had we been told beforehand to leave at a certain time, okay. But this way and us being the only ones there?Kind of gave the whole experience a bad note.
