An excellent campsite.
Stayed one night on a powered site. Kitchen and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Was walked to the site upon arrival and given choice based on when we would have sun. We received a warm welcome when we arrived. $46 for two adults on powered site.

11April 24.
2 adults. Motorhome. Good facilities. Very quiet being a little out of town. $46 for powered site. It looks like some development going on but no impact on our stay. Shame it was very wet that day.

Nice spacey concrete sites for campervans.
The lady owner was really nice and brought over some toys for our kids to play with! The playground is not much anymore and some of the areas on the campground are not properly maintained, but the part where we were was really nice. There is a smaller ablution block with a small kitchen, and a larger block next to the cabins (but that was closed for us, probably because it’s still shoulder season). There’s also a new larger kitchen with some toys for kids. Facilities were clean and tidy. Washing and dryers were $2, though we were not impressed by their performance. It was $64 per night for two adults and two children (2 and 4).

Very tidy and private property.
On outskirts of town but no long term clients. While not a top ten anymore it is still maintained to that standard if not better. New toilets and showers. Nice owners

What a beautiful spot!
Everything is so well done...the bathrooms, kitchens are spotless. They have laundry at a very reasonable $2 for a wash. The sites are well spaced and each have a picnic table. And it was so quiet to sleep! The grounds, hedges and gardens are.lovely.

Located a bit out of town and some of the outside areas like lawns and gardens could use a tidy up but otherwise nice.
We were close to the smaller kitchen and toilet block which were clean with a modern feel. Toilet/shower was very nice there was a heater and faceclothes and flowers in the room. I much prefer a few small toilet blocks to one huge long row of cubicles. Giant chess was cool we played a few games, lots of room for kids to run around and a playground so they were happy. Pet friendly someone even brought their horse, they had a paddock out the back.

Clean, quiet and tidy with concrete pads for campers.
Ablution block was lovely. Nicely decorated with free showera, modern and spacious with heater and nice big mirrors. 1gb data free. One of the nicer camps we’ve stayed at but is out of the way a bit. Note they did allow my small old dog but apparently are not dog friendly even though websites say they are.

Nice clean facilities very clean grounds.
We received free drink vouchers for the local pub / restaurant and were informed that they have a courtesy bus but they would not come to pick us up. So no free drin k and no money spent on food or extra drinks at their establishment. Cheapest top 10 and probably one of the best!

Nice spot for one night with helpful, informative staff.
Clean old facilities and a small kitchen. Bit of wifi included. Out of town so couldn’t walk into CBD. Perfect spot for a stopover between Southland and Fiordland

The new lounge room and kitchen are super nice.
Plenty of stoves and sinks for everyone to use. The bathrooms could use updating and guests are only given 100MB of WiFi.

Top spot.
After cycling from Cape Rienga and staying at many parks, this one was among the best.
Facilities are modern, clean and well equipped. Staff were happy to help out with enquiries. Upon arrival, when I said I was tenting, they handed me a fresh towel and a folding camp chair for my stay. For $22 a night, this was hard to top.

Nice site outside of town which suited us.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful and we were there the week after the Munro challenge week when friends told us the site had been full to the brim but there was no sign of overuse. The grass areas were in good condition and the kitchen was spotless as were the toilets and showers. A nice experience of the Top 10 franchise.
