  • Campsite near the beach!

Clean toilet and shower. A lot to do organised if you want. Beautifull hike at the caost trail.

  • We stayed two nights here and it was verry good.

All the facilities have been clean and functional. The hot shower time of 6 minutes was absolutely enough for us.

  • Lovely site everything clean, we paid for a beach front pitch and were able to sit out of the wind with the doors open and enjoy the sea view.

  • Even thought there are lots of campers - the site is so well laid out including with trees offering shade - we felt like we had lots of space and shelter.

Fantastic facilities. Awesome location next to a glorious beach

  • Excellent location and good facilities.

Pleasant warm showers, nice kitchen. Right by the beach and restaurant effectively on site. Nothing to improve

  • Lovely coastal town to stay in.

The campsite was very clean and quiet. The toilet and kitchen facilities were lovely and clean. Hot showers available. No kitchen utensils but luckily we have our own in our camper van. Location was great right in front of the beach and we used this site as our base the night before heading to the Abel Tasman park for a days hiking.

  • We ended up there because we couldn't find anything in the area and really needed a shower.

It's a bit expensive but yeah... You can also just pay for a shower if needed!

Great facilities to cook and take a shower and just on the other side of the road from the beach. So morning swim is a great idea!

  • Great for the beach and the facilities are good (kitchens, showers, toilets).

Very busy and a big site (try and get a spot close to the beach side).

  • Nice site close to the beach.

It was quiet when we were there . First week in December but I suspect it gets very busy later. Large kitchen facilities and good showers.

  • I think this was probably one of our favourite campsites to stay in.

Stayed for 2 nights mid-week in November. Not too busy and we luckily chose a powered site which was by the showers, toilets and kitchen but had no one next to us. Staff are really friendly, campsite is clean and tidy, and it’s right by the beach to get the Abel Tasman boat shuttle the next day. I’d recommend eating in the Beached Whale which is a great restaurant basically onsite. Only downsides to the park are it is quite expensive and we’ve found others offering similar for a cheaper cost and the showers aren’t the most intuitive to use (you need to press a button outside of the shower cubicle to get hot water for 6 minutes- if, like my sister, you use the entrance to the showers which are the other side from where the buttons are, you can easily miss this because there’s no signage and end up having to take a freezing cold shower!)

  • The facilities are perfect, everything is clean.

Have water, dump station, kitchens, hot showers, and everything you could need. Yet, the camping places are next to each other and there was a million other people. As we like a more cosy and intimate setting, that was not exactly for us.

  • Very big, big kitchen, showers are limited in time and have not much pressure, difficult with long hair.

Wifi is limited to and doesn‘t work, not even google some things. Too expensive for all that (62$ one Camper, 2 adults)

    Reviewed about 2 years ago

  • Not a fan of big sites and this one was as expected.

Pros - beachside location, nice bar, big shop. Cons - pitches on top of each other (but not noisy), showers were dirty, cold and timed. There are a couple of sites just down the road which are smaller and more chill but if you want all singing all dancing or have children with you this would be a good option.

  • I walked in and got the last available campsite.

Paid 64$ for one person and a car. As I arrived to my campsite I realised that i wouldn't feel comfortable in a packed holiday park like this, so i went straight back to the reception to tell them about my situation and get my money refunded before leaving to a more quiet place. The Overweighted guy with glasses told me they wouldn't refund for one night. Must be very proud of himself.

  • Stayed two nights.

Lots of space. Clean showers, bathrooms and kitchens. All sites are powered

Perfect spot for catching a water taxi or trying the bike park. Was going to try the bike park but rental place right next door is closed Mon and Tuesday.
