Freedom camping here was great!
Plenty of spots for both big and small vans/cars.
Right on the beach so was windy at night. Lots of locals using the beach but far enough away you didn’t feel like you were on top of them!
Bathrooms that are close to the site are closed due to vandalism but the park 300m up the road are open until sunset and opened really early!

A great place to watch the sunset, as well as plenty of parking spaces.
There is a changing room with three toilets, a cold shower, and a sink. There is also an outdoor beach shower. There is a park five minutes away with a basketball court, more toilets, a water point, and electric barbecues. Be aware that the nearby toilets close at night (9:30 p.m. in early January).

A great beach location but sadly the locals were riding motor bikes up and down the beach with no regard for anyone else on the beach and were doing burnouts in the car park and letting off fireworks until
late in the night
I certainly wouldn’t have felt safe here except there were lots of campers around
