This campground is one of our favorites.
PLEASE NOTE: CLOSED FROM APRIL 29 THROUGH OCTOBER
We stayed there at the beginning and end of our trip. It has three restroom areas, and the main one (number 1) has a flush toilet and a sink area in the back. There’s also a river nearby for a walk, and it’s 30 minutes from downtown. Rollestone is just 10 minutes away, where you can shower at their sports center.
Some areas have no coverage, and you have to be careful if it rains heavily so you don’t get stuck in the grass. Otherwise, it’s wonderful.

Lugar con mucho espacio, al principio hacía mucho viento pero después paró.
Hay un baño a dos minutos que cierra por la noche. Nos quedamos para ir al ferry a primera hora, está a 20 minutos así que fue perfecto

Good spot in the middle of the city because you can walk everywhere.
It's very popular, so get there early. If it's full, ask if anyone is leaving because there's a lot of turnover. The bathroom is 3 minutes away and closes at night. Note that there's one side with a streetlight and a fountain, so try the other side because the falling water and overhead light aren't very pleasant.

The place is quite huge.
The toilets are clean with sink. No information point to explain the areas you can park.

A great place to watch the sunset, as well as plenty of parking spaces.
There is a changing room with three toilets, a cold shower, and a sink. There is also an outdoor beach shower. There is a park five minutes away with a basketball court, more toilets, a water point, and electric barbecues. Be aware that the nearby toilets close at night (9:30 p.m. in early January).
