Great place to stay for self contained campers, we were the only ones there after spending the afternoon Salmon fishing.
Very quiet. Comet the friendly deer enjoyed some nice fresh grass too.

Amazing spot for self contained vehicles overlooking Queenstown.
Lots of people coming and going during the day but night time very quiet.

Lovely and quiet setting next to the river, just enough space on the shoreline to pull up a chair and take in the tranquillity.
Short walk to the beach but not really for swimming. Older, but clean toilets. Well worth the $10 donation.

Goldsborough Campsite
Great spot, loved the comical Weka's chasing you around for food, wouldn't eat apples but loved sausages as it turned out!
It was wet and miserable when we stayed so didn't get much opportunity to discover more. Good facilities.

Way off the beaten track, very long trek down gravel road but the end result was worth it, amazing and not a soul around.
Not the best terrain for a camper van although we did make it!
Lots of sand flys and no cellphone coverage.... But the views made up for it!
