A large gravel area to park on Kenepuru Road, over looking Ohingaroa Bay. This would be a lovely spot to watch the sunset, just park your camper behind you for some privacy as you really are next to the road.

Nice spot overlooking the water. Right next to the road but it’s very quiet at night. Only 4 spots and they fill up early. 2 day maximum stay.

4 spaces only so pays to get there early. The weather was on our side, beautiful day and an amazing sunset. Star gazing was incredible too!

We parked at this campsite because the nearby one was already full at 4pm. We were lucky and got one of the last spots at this one. It's amazing! Great view, relaxed vibe, you can go swimming or just enjoy the scenery. Just don't rely on getting a spot there as there are only a few.
Beautiful place, very clean drop down toilet (wasn’t smelly at all) and stunning view in the morning of the bay! It was very stormy and windy when we stayed, so we were somewhat concerned as parking lots are relatively close to water. But everything was good!
A nice place to stay there is a grassed picnic area with a table next to the Campervan parking area we stayed there all day till late collected oysters from the rocks for tea and only moved to the designated Campervan area to sleep. We will go back again when next in the region.
Free! Fantastic views, highly recommend. Only takes four vehicles so get there early.
