Clean, comfortable and easy walking to the lake and town.
Great stop before Milford Sound.

We met great people here in the shared kitchen, but otherwise wish we hadn’t stopped in Haast.
This was our initial introduction to sandflies, and it was pretty bad. There was a friendly mouse who scampered through the kitchen, but otherwise facilities were clean, just very basic. Another camper held up the shower for a good 15+ minutes with a queue forming and didn’t seemed bothered one bit. Bummer for rude campers.

We stayed in both this and the TOP 10.
Both are great, this one was our favorite of the two because our son loved the pedal go cart and we thought the spacing here for camper and/RVs was more spacious. Clean facilities. Lovely little town! We enjoyed it!

What a great little hideaway.
Amy (the host) was very kind and answered all my questions quickly. We stayed at the lookout which had a wonderful lake view and felt very secluded. Lake was nearby, but cafes were not… so we cooked our own food and we’re fine with it. Wi-fi was not working for us and shower $ was provided. It was a great fit for us. Beautiful land Amy, thanks for letting us stay!

Unbelievable stay at Ross.
We gave up our powered site to camp right on the beach and had the best view of the ocean all night. I loved every moment of beach exploring we did, and then had an amazing sunset to top it off. Also enjoyed the little town and dinner at the pub. Quite a nice surprise. We’ll take this memory home as one of our most favorite Holiday Parks we stayed in (we circled the entire southern island, y’all!!). Cheers.
Hi Courtney,
Thats fantastic...we love that you enjoyed everything that Ross has to offer, township, beach and of course our fab location.
Take care

Close to a beach and good location, but if you’re hoping to stay right next to the Moeraki boulders, this is not as close as I imagined!
However those boulders are a quick stop away. Food walkable, but their kitchen seemed to close a bit earlier than I would have liked.

We were here over a holiday and didn’t get a powered site reservation in time, but they got us in anyway and we’re quite nice.
Party crew next to us, which was kind of annoying, but we still slept. Walking distance to the beach and a restaurant.

Walking distance to the gondola and town.
Clean facilities, funky art vibe. My husband really liked this holiday park so I’m giving it a 9. We just loved how close everything was.
Thanks very much for the review Courtney. We are so pleased you and your husband had a great stay with us hear at Creeksyde and you enjoyed our close proximity to town. We hope to welcome you back in the future.

This Holiday park is massive, but spacious.
We had lots of room and enjoyed sitting outside to watch the sunset and take walks by the beach. We rented bikes and cycled around for a while which was a great way to see town. We stayed two nights and generally had a good time here.

We accidentally stayed on this side of Abel Tasman Nat Park, but we are glad we did.
We wanted to catch the cruises that mostly depart on the east side of the national park (check out Katerikeri). BUT we had a great time exploring Pohara, the beach, Molly B’s and the Farewell Spit (great loop hike with sheep)! We ended up staying two nights and booking a Abel Tasman sea cruise the third day… and just drove around to meet the boat. CJ (at check in) was amazing, knowledgeable and extremely hospitable. Thanks CJ!!

If you want to see Abel Tasman via one of the Sea Cruise boats, stay on this side of the park.
We stayed on the other side first and found out the hard way most boats depart from this side! Saving you a potential headache. Great Holiday Park. Spacious, clean, nice staff and walkable to the boat launch. You can easily walk and book tickets there, but breakfast venues are limited.

We were campervaning all around southern New Zealand.
Kiakoura was our last stop before we head to Christchurch and fly out. The staff was nice, but as we checked out our site I was a bit bummed this little holiday park didn’t offer something a little more special. The hot tub was nice. But overall, this was one of our least favorite holiday parks we visited this month. This venue puts you VERY close to your campervan neighbors. It’s beyond tight. The ground was soggy and town wasn’t that close. We just wanted to close all of our curtains and hunker down, which is unlike us. The Top 10 option doesn’t look that much better IMO. If you’re staying in Kiakoura, I recommend heading out to enjoy the beach as long as you can. Come get your campervan parked later in the day and hot tub if you have time.
