Fav spot so far.... could not beat the view at all!! Witnessed sunset and sunrise both were to die for.. little windy at night but died down.. barely heard the traffic

Lovely peaceful little spot. Nice beach. Traffic not too much of a noise issue. Huge chicken lives here, make sure to feed. Only downfall is only one toilet, with no lights or lock or toilet seat. Other than that free and beautiful scenery. In shade in the afternoon but early warm sun in the morning.

Beautiful location with great campers about, two downfalls being the weather and the toilet seat was missing hence the 9/10 rating. But will definitely be back to catch that morning sunrise and relax. Thanks guys

Free, first row 'seats' to the rising sun in the morning and flush toilets. Not much traffic during the night.
Would stay here again.

A must stay! flush toilet is clean and well stocked, beautiful location, right on the beach, perfect for a surf, swim, or sunbathing. Not too crowded and a five minute drive from the city, locals came to surf and were very friendly, definitely coming back!

Great location. Plenty of spots. Excellent sunrise and moonrise. Slept great to the sound of the ocean. Only real negative is only one toilet, but it was clean.

Great location as described by others. Officially room for 10 or so vans facing the sea. Why the lower score than others'? Noise. Trucks passing 20M away all night, some using engine brakes. Perhaps we were unlucky with the traffic but no sleep is a bad quality for an overnight stop.

24 h toilets, bins and a lot of spaces. Decent surf, nice view and free - what more could you want!

Stunning beach location. Fabulous sunrises. I stayed here on two separate occasions. My favourite freedom camp so far. Highly recommend - particularly if you're a surfer (which I'm not)..

Absolute bliss!! Kicking myself for not staying more than one night! Right on the sand dunes in front of the surf. Not much swell when I was there but still got out and got some waves. Me and only one other van. Be mindful that free camping is only meant to be in the designated area (it's explained in the sign on the toilet block). Locals will rock up early (5.30am) for the surf, particularly on weekends. Didn't bother me as I was up with them surfing! Yew!

Beautiful. Captured the perfect sunrise photos and early morning surfing one of the best freedom camping spots I've stayed.

Campers have to park at the northern end and we were the only camper. We got there about 4pm and there were a lot of surfers parked at the other end. A fantastic location on the ocean but we were woken a few times during the night by trucks speeding down the nearby highway.

Great space and very quiet. Most other campgrounds were full thus we were surprised that no one parked at this parking space. We spent Christmas Eve here and enjoyed the beach and view. Toilet was clean. When we woke up at 7am it was very busy with surfers but fun to watch them!
