Touchdown were amazingly helpful and friendly while we were travelling in NZ recently.
They bent over backwards to do everything they could for us a number of times. I thoroughly recommend them for all your car travelling needs 🤗

Ferry from airport to pickup and after dropoff to airport was seamless and fast.
Car pickup and return was fast for handovers before and after. Great recommendations for Mercedes tourer for 7 people with lots of luggage space to transport 6 large luggages and a few more odd size backpacks. Brakes on the Tourer can be better but ok after u adapt to the braking pressure

Staff very friendly and very quick and conveniently located just 5 mins from the airport with Excellent pick up drop off.
I would highly recommend this independently owned company.

Top Notch Service
I booked the car only a day before I needed it. They were very accommodative over the phone and soon I booked it online, I was sent the confirmation email. Next morning Cam picked us up from the hotel and by the time we got to their base, car was ready for us. Dave took time to explain everything to us including all the features we could use during our trip. Cam suggested us couple of places to visit, when we told him where we were heading towards. Super good team. Car was presented excellently. We had awesome time in the convertible Mustang & loved every single second inside the car. After dropping off the car next morning, Cam offered to drop us back to the main Queenstown. Highly recommend Dave, Cam & Touchdown! We will surely re-hire from them when we come back for NZ holiday. Thank you so much 😁

The superb service from Ken at Touchdown started right from us being picked up an easy 10.
The car we rented was perfect and Ken explained all of the many features. We felt looked after at all times. The rates were very reasonable and we even enjoyed a lovely coffee from our hosts. Then the extra mile happened at the end of the hire, we were driven into town to get our bus, and finally I had left my glasses behind and I had tem posted to me quickly. If you are in Queenstown, please go to touchdown first, don't hire at the airport one of the big names, you will be glad you read my review.

Ken from touch down rentals Queenstown was very friendly and very helpful. Our car was nice and clean fitted with roof racks, baby seat and snow chains supplied for a safe trip up the mountain everyday! Cheers Ken!

Great location, very convenient as they operate out of Commodore Hotel so pickup and drop off is a breeze. Hired a Mini from them for the weekend, so perfect for the weekend away - wonderful car.

Queenstown, a special reunion of a US family for the weekend.
We landed at the airport Saturday evening and--even with a reservation at a famous car renter for the next day--discovered that no one had any cars left for hire. It was also Marathon weekend--we hadn't known. We did find a list on the wall that included Touchdown's phone. We got hold of Ken who was delighted to help us. I didn't want to drive at night so we arranged pickup Sunday. Ken and an associate drove up to Arrowtown bright and early to personally deliver the luxurious late model car (it looked brand new) and off we went to Glenorchy. It was a wonderful weekend of driving and sightseeing in style. Amazing service and hospitality. Kudos to Ken!
