When you visit New Zealand a trip to world famous Milford Sound is a must and the best way to see it is by air!
The wilderness between Milford Sound and Queenstown has some of the most dramatic, powerful scenery in the world. Lush rainforest, glacial icefalls, rugged mountain peaks and crystal-clear alpine lakes are hidden from the road and uncovered on our flights.
A 35 minute scenic flight from either Queenstown or Te Anau can have you in Milford Sound connecting with a relaxing, informative and personalised cruise exploring Milford Sound out into the Tasman Sea.
It took millions of years for nature to create the towering mountains and for the glaciers to carve its deep fjords. It will take you only a few hours to enjoy this magnificent scenery with one of our many flight options.
We have scheduled flights departing daily from Queenstown, Te Anau and Milford Sound.
We also specialize in remote area flying and charter work, if you are into hiking or hunting we can deliver you to some of the more out of the way areas to enjoy the scenery by yourself.
We love to hear your feedback and if you had a great time, join in all the fun on our Facebook fan page and upload your photos and video from your scenic flight! To keep up to date with our latest news, specials & weather conditions, become a fan on Facebook: www.facebook.com/airfiordland

Due to adverse weather the cruise on Milford Sound was not available, however this was explained well and a longer flight given. Good pilot and commentary.

Awesome Flight to Milford Sound!!
Such breath-taking views would highly recommend this trip. The pilot and staff are great, very informative and funny, well making us feel safe throughout the trip.
Was amazed at how close you feel to the mountains gives you a good perspective of how huge they are.
Cheers guys for a wicked experience!

Great (small) company with very friendly pilot. We did a flight from Te Anau to milford sound, and after a lunch break (which they offered us after i asked for a short break in the milford sound) for 1,5 our they gave us an extra by flying back over the milford sound to the doubtfull sound (50min!) and back to Te Anau! Good value for the money ($ 710,00 2 persons). Gave us the information about the area and not more than that, so there were enough "silent" moments to dream away above and between the mountains.
A must do in NZ! We did a lot in NZ but this was the most special...

We went by coach down to Milford Sound and then flew back. The flight was awesome! The scenery was so stunning - fjords, mountains, lakes and towns. Our pilot was really nice and the commentary was good too. The scenery really spoke for itself so he didn't say much except to explain what we were flying over! They also provided us with a free shuttle back into Queenstown when we got back.

Fantastic friendly personal service. We were picked up from our campsite and taken straight to the airport. The flight itself was breathtaking and the commentary was informative without being intrusive and well worth the money. The cruise was beautiful and as we were on a smaller boat we were able to get much closer to the caves and waterfalls. The kids all got to steer the boat along with other willing volunteers which made the trip really memorable.
