  • Clean, tidy campsite with spacious motor home pitches.

The staff were very helpful when our motorhome broke down and were able to let us move to a cabin for a couple of nights. Thank you

  • Campsite was okay, but not very cosy.

You're very close to a lot of other campers. Staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Showers had a good temperature, but cooled for a moment when someone else started

  • Great camp.

Clean and good showers. Good facilities. The best fish and chips.

Only reason not a 10 as no clear markings between sites.

  • Obviously an old site with a strong sense of identity, design and humour , some of it is more like an old hi de hi camp set in a bit of a time warp but quirky, but the very old facilities are not really

up to standard these days, well maintained and they are kept pretty clean but not comparable to other modern sites

  • Quirky park in a great location close to the beach.

Nice big plots but perhaps not as nice as other parks we stayed at.

  • Quirky but charming campground.

WiFi worked well. Could use some updates, but our stay was pleasant. Good camping rates. Walk to beach was further than expected.

  • For an in the city park it was a perfect location for access to the Albatross center.

Older facility but adequate for camping in town.

  • Stayed 1/1/25.

$36 for one person in an unpowered site. They took my money without knowing how many sites were left- I very nearly didn't get a spot.

Lots of amenities with very fun paintings on the walls.

    Good, large kitchens.

Cramped but free showers, with benches AND hooks!

A bright street light shone straight into my car ALL NIGHT.

There will be lots of familys here as it is within walking distance of a beautiful beach.

  • Great campsite!

Good facilities, lovely staff and just a short bus ride away from the city. Quite a lot of kids so can get noisy, but thats okay.

  • Staff very helpful.

Tired and cramped. Rained continuously and so did not access the beach.

I think your reviews should be broken down into quality of toilets/showers/kitchen/Wi-fi and specific location.

  • We camped two nights.

The facilities are old but are complete. The kitchen closes at 10pm. There is wifi but it doesn't work very well. There is a TV room but it also closes at 10pm, you must go to your tent or van, there are no spaces for common use after that hours

  • Not welcoming.

They close the kitchen at 9 pm and kick everyone out. They advertise 2 kitchens but both nights we were there one kitchen was closed for "private function". The kitchen was crowded but at 858 the guy came in and announced "2 minute warning". Everyone was throwing things in bags, grabbing pans of food and walking out with the food still in pans. They don't open until 7 am so if you are an early riser too bad. If you want a cup of hot tea in the evening forget it. No place to warm it up after 9pm. No lounge area. Basically you feel like you are a nuisance they tolerate but only until 9pm.

  • Location a bit far from city centre, about 5-10 mins drive.

Facilities clean, large kitchen, but lighting in bathroom quite dim. Fish & chip in front of the entrance cheap and tasty.
