  • The cave tubing was a lot of fun.

We had a very nice guide, you get warm wetsuits and shoes and there really are a lot of glowworms! Could be a bit less expensive.

  • Quite exciting.

If someone would like to look at improvements, a little less routine! But very nice!

  • Campbell gave us a fantastic cave tour, he is passionate about the caves & obviously loves his job.

We didn't want a commercial type tour with a crowd of people & we couldn't have asked for better. This is a small tour company run by locals & they care very much for the land & the state of the caves which are only a short ride from town. Campbell gave us more than our money's worth & we enjoyed every minute. Very memorable for all the right reasons

  • Had reservations with another company (Legendary Black Water Rafting Co) but too much rain so river too high.

They were great about it but we were thrilled to get on with Cave World. Good experience - guide pretty good but routine seemed a bit tired. Can't blame them.

  • Black magic tour was nice, guide was very good, only the time of acutal cave time was too short in regards of the price.

  • It said that the tour would take 3 hours, in fact it was half the time.

Perhaps our expectations were too high, glow-worms were fantastic.

  • Interesting, but quite expensive.

  • $99-124 for their '2 hour' tubing 'blackwater rafting' experience was overpriced compared to other offerings.

Their cave is not that impressive physically and there are better tours for seeing actual glowworms (my girlfriend did the Spellbound tour and had a much better time). Time in the cave is also a lot less than you'd expect.

Did get to do the wetsuit-in-water thing with jumps off 2 small waterfalls, but overall not worth it for the price.

If you want to see glowworms, do Spellbound

If you want a good cave, do Aranui Cave & Ruakuri Cave

And if you want adventure do greenglow.co.nz or Haggas Honking Holes

    A disappointment, don't recommend
