  • Magnificent multi subject museum in a magnificent building.

Beautiful Maori artefacts, great natural history and useful information on the military history of New Zealand.

  • I loved the natural history portion, particularly the exhibits on New Zealand's birds.

Price was a little steep at $25 for foreigners.

  • Very interesting exhibit on Maori and Pacific Island culture.

Only improvement would be less resource devoted to toys from the 1980s - I do not need a museum for that.

  • Nice, informative museum - not boring like many others.

    Therefore, attractive for young people.

  • $25 entrance fee is quite expensive, if you can choose to go to Te Papa in Wellington, which is a lot better.

OK activity for a rainy day in Auckland. It is not very interesting.

  • Interesting exhibits, but a lot of them in bad condition.

A positive was the Maori dancing. A negative that it is expensive, we found the same exhibits in Wellington for free.

  • Very diversified, interesting and structured museum.

Attractive layout and design of the shown topics. Multimedia equipment was great as was the do it yourself stuff. Expensive.

  • Very interesting experience and probably worth the money.

Hugely informative for someone who may not necessarily be aware of New Zealand's role in WW2.

  • The 75 year Air New Zealand special exhibition is very good.

Sadly, the rest is not that good, and it costs money to enter for non-Aucklanders.
