Really impressive Kauri forest with nice and easy walks.
You can really see how the Kauri are impressive and the kings of the forest. Easy access. Good job DOC, a member is on site for the explanations. Safe carpark with guardian.

Mangawhai Cliffs Walkway
Really easy three hour loop, everybody can do it.
The beaches were awesome. Hot weather, take a lot of water, especially on the beaches where the wind is present.

$25 per person was a bit too expensive for the museum.
You can do it really fast.

Mount Taranaki Summit Track
One part is very slippery and not that easy.
Do not under estimate the weather. Really cold at the top. Worth the 9 to 10 hour walk.

Tongariro Alpine Crossing
Start early in the morning to have time to do the Summit in good weather.
This also avoids lots of people and the crowding. Take your time, don't pass your limit, enjoy. Good atmosphere on the walk.

Haruru Falls Track
Three hour walk .
Nice bush walk into the mangrove. At the end, you end up at a waterfall. It was not an impressive waterfall. Coming back by the road is risky.
