For a nice short walk along the coast to visit the seals then this is a good spot.
The scenery is very nice as well.

Beautiful full campsite with amazing views over the beach.
You can easily walk to any of the good facilities. It's a very nice stay when not busy.

Small camping space with a hot shower.
The road the the campsite is bumpy, but worth the effort.

A good climb to the top and a very beautiful walk back down to the carpark.

Trounson Kauri Park Loop Track
A beautiful kauri park near our tent site.
We saw a wild kiwi in the park.

Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland
The thermal area is bauttiful and exceptional to see.
However, very touristic and the geyser eruption is disapointing as it is started by soap. It's nicer to skip this and go on to a less busy moment.

When it's nice weather you can have a swim in the lake after you walk around it.
