Wow, this was a fantastic walk!
Especially in good weather, but not too hot. Great views, a bit of adventure! Only the last kilometres were very long and a bit boring.

We had a tour in two caves (with boat and walking).
Our guide was very good, he told us a lot about caves, nature, New Zealand! He was enthusiastic and it was a personal tour.

The Maori people gave us a great show and very good food!
They were enthusiastic and funny! Only in my opinion, it was very touristic and very expensive for what we have got.

We went two times to the i-Site in Taupo.
Both times they were in a hurry and impersonal. On the other side, they did give us the information we needed.

Beautiful place, near the river.
Toilets clean enough, great for a few walks to the Huka Falls.

Escape Campervan Rentals
We have a great campervan, everything is working well and everything we need is in our van.
The organisation is flexible! They told us, that every question was answered in their book, but I think this could be better.
Thanks for your kind review Bram and Laura! I am actually working on next years version of our Escape Guidebook at the moment, I'm getting there but don't want it to end up being as big as War and Peace ^_^

Abel Tasman Kayaks
We hired a kayak for two days, without a guide.
The trip itself was wonderful! The people of the organisation were a bit impersonal and our water taxi was not arranged. But the facilities were nice, the showers etc.

Lovely people, very helpful, they are very willing to give a lot of information!
Great campground, beautiful views, very clean facilities - they were brand new, better than home.
