Good facilities, reasonable cost. Good location for first night in New Zealand, 2-3 hours south of Christchurch.

Very enjoyable short walk around the lake, viewing the reflection of Mt Cook, easy path, good viewing points.

Facilities were simply different class - kitchen and showers/toilet very upmarket.
Fees reflect this - $40 for a powered site. Good internet access at $6 per hour.
