If it wasn’t for the noisy highway 6 it could have scored higher. Ok for a night but wouldn’t stay here during the day. Friendly staff lady and clean (I mean very clean) facilities. Nice cut and green gras to put up your tent.

Unreal welcome! Made to feel right at home even with the Irish digs haha. Lovely kitchen, class living room. The fella will take groups to a little glowworm haven each night for free out of the goodness of his Kiwi heart. You can buy loveky eggs for very cheap and milk for tea and coffee was provided... The people make the place and this pair of campground owners set the bar very high!
This place is unique! The owners are super friendly and really care about the site and the people! Fresh eggs from the farm and lemons on the table. Took us to a glow worm place, stunning! Don’t mind the highway, hardly noticeable.
Everything was Super new and clean.
Oh and bring meat, there is THE Grill.
thanks so much! Highly recommended!
Best place ever! Hosts are super-friendly and of you like Kevin can help you plan your trip. He takes you also for free to an amazing glowworm-spot.
Very clean bathrooms and kitchen.
Good place to connect with other travellers.

We would thoroughly recommend this place to everyone! Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and the hosts are wonderful! Great fun times had by all when we visited. Thanks again, Kevin and Jules- we have fond memories!
Be sure to see the glow worms in the dark... you’ll love it!

We have been travelling around New Zealand for 3 Weeks in a Campervan with a seven month old infant now and changed campsites nearly every day. We felt always welcome and most of the time all staff or owners tried to help us or give us good advises.
But when we arrived at Linksview they set the bar to an other level.
The Campsite looks still very new and everything is well maintained. The sides are not the biggest we have had, but it was absolute fine for our 7,2m Campervan. Toilets and Shower are perfectly clean and they even had real towels for your hands after washing.
When we arrived, we thought it might bother us, that the side is quiet close to the highway, but in the end we did not even notice it!
The kitchen and the living room were so nice, we felt really like we were sitting in someone’s living room. You have to take your shoes off in there so the nice carpet stays as wonderful as it is. In the morning the owner and his wife turned up again and we just chatted in the living room for nearly an hour. And you get fresh egg’s from their own chicken for breakfast!
Absolutely perfect! We hope the places stays like it is. Especially our little baby enjoyed crawling on the carpet in the huge living room, so please keep the place like it is.
P.S.: If you are going to Hokitika for jade shopping, check out the wilderness gallery from Juergen Schake! Very nice gallery with great things to buy and a very friendly owner.
Lovely place to stay. The best Campground in NZ. Many thanks to the hosts for their hospitality, the fresh eggs for the breakfast, the nice evenings and the trip to the Glow Worm Dell. :)
