Kevin and Julian go above and beyond for every camper. The place is incredibly well kept and was by far the best campsite we have stayed in. The facilities are brand new and there is a grill.

Very nice and friedly campground. Owners are very helpfull.
Grass has golfcourse quality.
Facilities are new and clean. Hot shower for 5 minutes is 2 dollar, cold is free. Cold washingmachine is 4 dollars, as is the dryer.
Comfortable living room and well equiped kitchen and bbq. Very suitable for rainy days as well.
We loved our stay here.
Very friendly couple! And very nice facilities. So good, that we don’t want to stay at the free campsite just down the road! Ample space, free range eggs for sale, big and powerful BBQ, (one of them reserved for pizza only) kitchen with tea and coffee and milk in the fridge. The husband came to check that everything was all good at our tent site. And he took several campers, including my group for a drive to the glow worm caves at 10:00 that night! And the wife gave us salve when she saw our sandfly bites. They really go above and beyond with the hospitality. Showers are $2 for 5mins, but it’s not an inconvenience at all. Will definitely stay again. And for longer next time! Thanks a bunch guys
This was the best campsite we have been in all New-Zeeland. We immediately were welcomed by the owner Kevin and his wife, due to this warm atmosphere it reminded us of home. The facilities were amazing, very clean, BBQ, coffee and tea, ... On the morning he brought us for breakfast free range eggs and zucchinis. Thanks a lot, greetings from Belgium!!!!!
We went there because of the good reviews and I agree with the previous comments. However, it was pretty busy when we were there and for the amount of people we found the facilities too small. Eg there is only one shower for females and males plus an extra one that both can use (and you have to pay for it). The kitchen / living area is also quite small eg only one sink and stove. So probably better to go there outside of the peak season.
Great campsite with awesome community areas. The hosts create a really nice atmosphere among their guests. One of the best in NZ
I stayed 2 nights at this campsite.
The comfort and friendliness of the place, the availability of the owners are just perfect.
The place is clean, we believe in our living room. It's very nice.
Kevin offers us and advises us perfectly on the activities of the region (possibilities to rent a bike) and brings us with great pleasure every evening to go see the glow worms.
Showers are $ 2
Washing machines and dryer at $ 4 (but possibility to relax the laundry)
For one person, with my car not sc, I paid $ 17
