It's a lovely, well maintained and clean space.

Not much privacy between the sites but a very loving host who will give great advice on the activities in the area. Came back for a second night.

Great spot, best of our trip!

Host Kevin was friendly funny and informative. His wife was lovely too and gave us some ideas of places to go. Kevin showed us all areas. Explained about the eels and feeding them which was great to see the. Hot Showers though it is $2 for a shower only downside id say. Fresh eggs, beer and wine in the fridge if you wanted to buy.

Kitchen, bathroom and common room all clean.

Washer & Dryer onsite $4. Great place.

    Great place to stay.

Flat places to camp with tent sites, powered and unpowered sites for vans. Hot showers, well equiped and clean kitchen also with hot water. Beer, wine and eggs for sale here. TV and comfy, clean sofa area.

Hosts are incredibly hospitable. Very close to town.

If the weather was good there would be so Many activities to do include rent golf clubs, bikes and many games. Great location for families or kids too.

Great place, very hospitable hosts who not only give advice and tips but drop you off with your bikes and make sure that you arrive back at the camping ground sound and safe.

Thanks for the tip about the Sunday Roast at the Empire Hotel in Ross. Loved it. Thanks Kevin & Julianne

Great little place with fantastic kitchen / common area.

Lost 2 stars as there is no water or dump stations and the showers cost $2 for a very short session, so take $4 if you wash your hair.

Simply the best place to stop prior to Fox Glacier.

You will book for one night and ends up for more.

Kevin is such a gentleman and a funny host to hang with. Thanks for the lovely stay !

we chose the place with our camper because of the positive reviews.

what we liked: clean washroom, small kitchen with minimal equipment. what we didn't like: one shower for men, one for women, one unisex; pay for the shower, especially when no one is there to change money; small pitches without shade

I had a wonderful time here except for one interaction that left an incredibly bad taste.

I decided to hire a bike and get dropped off at a nearby biking trail. When I got back, the owners charged me an exorbitant rate. I was puzzled at first but they were insistent so I paid and left shortly after. I later discovered it was double the normal rate. Don’t stay here unless you want to be taken advantage of.
