I’ve visited a few times and I’m impressed how they keep refreshing the place. It keeps getting better and better.
Fun with a group / family. Our kids love it, but I've always left smiling too.
Opens at 9am and I’d recommend arriving at 8.50am. Be one of the first in, as it gets busy. Easy Campervan parking if you're early too.
No need to book ahead of time. Great option to have up your sleeve for when the weather isn't playing ball.

A great way to stretch the legs and mind is to visit the iconic attraction, Puzzling World, situated 2kms from Lake Wanaka.
Since 1973 this venture has been challenging people of all ages with its 1.5km Great Maze, intriguing them in the incredible Illusion Rooms and testing them in the Puzzle Café.
Offering a great day out for all ages, Puzzling World has welcomed over 2 million customers and continues to provide affordable entertainment that is world unique, making it a must-see on NZ tour itineraries.

Well that was fun!
Half a day rain spend inside, half a day sunny spend in the maze. Highly entertaining and definitely something else from all the nature and views ;) Worth the entree-fee. Enjoyable, felt like a kid. Crazy amount of puzzles in the cafe, nice extra treat.

Maze and illusion room are great fun on a quieter day...especially if you get there upon opening.
On a busy day don't bother to do the paid entry, but do stopoff, stretch legs and refresh. There is a gift/souvenier shop, cafe and toilet to use, along with free puzzle tables in the welcome area to entertain while you wait.

Very nice place for families as well as people without kids.
Cafe has limited selection but it was ok and you can solve various puzzles while you eat. Shop was plenty of interesting puzzles/toys/books.

On a rainy day in Wanaka we went to the Puzzling World, it was really interesting with the maze and the illusion room, $20 for the maze and adventure rooms.

We visited 6 years and more exhibits have been added which is good.
Maze is a little bit rundown but till fun.

Great fun for all ages, good value considering we spent three hours there and could have spent longer.
The full size maze was harder than it looks.

Not fussed on this attraction.
Only did illusion rooms not the maze. The hologram pictures haven't been updated since the 80s. Whole place seemed a bit dated. The Roman toilets were a hoot though.

Very funny and unexpected museum in Wanaka.
I spent a great time to see all the illusions and the exhibitions. The maze was not easy to finish quickly. I will recommend it for sure!!

Good activity for a rainy day.
Fun rooms to explore and you can get some funny photos. Maze is outside and took us 40 minutes, not as easy as you would think.

Very puzzled, we paid for tickets but found we could have just entered the maze and the illusions for free as there were no ticket checks.
