Relatively easy walk on well worn tracks (part of the Routeburn Track).
Spectacular waterfall and you can get right up close to it.

Punakaiki Pancake Rocks and Blowholes
Very interesting rock formations, also really cool area to see the raw power of the sea crashing against the cliffs.
Unfortunately, did not time it well to see the blowholes.

Hidden gem of a waterfall, easy 45 minute walk and very rewarding.
Can get right up beside the amazing falls.

Franz Josef Glacier Walk
Nice easy walk along the valley with the Glacier in the distance, arguably more beautiful from a distance than close up.
Busy track with lots of tourists.

Avalanche Peak track
Steep and tough, rocky climb up the Scotts Track.
6-8 hours return journey but the amazing view from above the bushline and at the peak makes it well worth the effort.

Stuart Landsborough's Puzzling World Wanaka
Great fun for all ages, good value considering we spent three hours there and could have spent longer.
The full size maze was harder than it looks.
