Difficult scramble up to the cave entrance and could prove treacherous in heavy rain, BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT!! Epic spikes!!!

From the start of the Milford Road to the end of the Sound, jaw dropping cliffs with waterfalls, penguins, seals and loads of interesting commentary from the boat crew.

We scored excellent weather on our walk.
The beaches were truly golden and people few. Had an awesome day meandering by the sea and watching the day go by.

Sawyer Burn Track
This hidden gem of a walk rewards the hiker with stunning views down to Lake Hawea and snowy peaked mountains.
The trail is only a foot's width in places with big drops, but stunning nonetheless. Also a quiet walk can be expected with a neat look inside the Sawyer Burn Hut at the top.
