Well worth a stop eben if you aren't into bouldering/rock climbing.
Exploring the unique landscape was great fun. The big boulders are only 5 min from the parking lot but you can easily spend an hour walking around and through them.

This place is a must stop.
If you like exploring and rock climbing, it is the spot to be. Could have spent all day there, so plan on at least a couple of hours to really enjoy it.

Massive boulders bordering a pretty large area.

The formations look different when you change the perspective. Take your time and climb some of the rocks to view even better.

Nice meandering unamrked tracks after the graded easy access track to the base of the rock.
Worth an explore around and behind. The best view is from the carpark (if you can stand the crowds).

After a short walk you reach a mystic place with large rocks on a small mountain.
You really can imagine that Maori lived there.
