Ok camping, nothing special. The hangar is an eye catching kitchen. WiFi doesn’t work well, kids loved the play area. Showers nice, hot and good waterpressure.

The 'rainfall' shower in the men's section (ladies have conventional shower head on wall) is the only best thing about this campground. There are two toilets and two shower stalls in the men's section. They can accommodate 37 powered sites, 18 unpowereed/tent sites, for a total 55. Go figure the queue in the morning as their sign was adamant about a 10am check out. Kitchen is small too, I didn't count the number of hot stations, but based on visual impressions, I think it's probably three groups at most.

$58 for a night with a campervan (2 adults, 3 year old and a baby)
Decent spots with a bit of space between and some shrubs to divide things up.
Good facilities, nice kitchen and toilet\showers.
Really great playground for kids, also a nice indoor games area and separate lounge area in case it rains (which it did for about an hour)

Not a very charming camping, gravel and open space, good playground, good showers, but very expensive 68 NZD for 1 powered site 2 adult and 2 young children.

Great site just outside town. Shower and toilet block are immaculate with lots of hot water. The communal kitchen has everything you need. Free 500mb of WiFi per device. Try the Hard Antler Bar down the road for some hearty food. A&E

Best showers so far in NZ camps (rainshower, above head). Very clean. Nice big common room. Great sunrise.

Everything you want in a powered site. Clean, comfortable spaces for your campers, quiet & friendly. Best hot shower I had over 10 days. Receptionist was a gem and gave us a couple spare towels as ours got drenched over night. The Antler Pub down the road does a decent meal. Don't forget to fuel up in Haast as there's no fuel stations for the next 120km.

Very nice place. This is the second time we stopped here. The place is still perfect: very quiet, very clean, good hot showers and perfect kitchen.
Powered site:48$ for 2 persons .... this was our most expensive stay in a camper place 😉 and you have to leave at 10am 🙈
A bit to early for us .....

Besite this camping experience (because this was a nice place....and we certainly go back)...... we have the feeling that the West Coast is one big commercial trap! From Wanaka up Nord to Greymouth you have practically no free camper places. Very sad and very expensive if you stay a longer time West.

Dated late January 2019. No booking, no problem. Friendly checkin. Facilities are good. Great views of mountains and worthwhile stopover choice. Campervan sites clean & well spaced.

Very clean spot! Nice kitchen! Good spacious spot for powered sites. Normal check in with a nice owner so we do not understand some bad references! A bit expensive though. Not many sandflies!

Stayed here with some reservations after reading reviews. Did not cross paths with a grumpy owner (employee receptionist was lovely and very helpful), however could understand what other reviewers might have experienced. There are signs everywhere, many of them SHOUTING AT YOU IN CAPS. Note to owner - this is not necessary and achieves nothing. People who are going to ignore the rules will do so no matter what size font you use... The facilities in the aircraft hanger (very novel!) where great, the site was nice, and the view of the surrounding mountains excellent. Kidlets had fun in the little playground. Would stay there again.

A good facility, clean and well maintained. Best part was the heated toilet and shower rooms. Heaven as this time of year every other place I’ve stayed has had outside temps inside. Brrrr... I was the only one there so very quiet.
