The guys arrived at 10am, not really awake and did not answer our questions!
Just gave us a map and said nothing else.
Thank you for coming in to the visitor centre, I am unsure why our staff will have arrived at 10am. We are open at 8.30am everyday Monday to Sunday. Was it the Department of Conservation Visitor Centre you approached or one of the Visitor Information Centres or I-Site? We hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip.

Maybe not an official I -site but the woman in charge of the visitor centre is very nice and keen to help organise your skydiving experience, scenic flight etc.

Thank you for coming in to the visitor centre, we are sorry you had to travel to Dunedin to see blue penguins, it is rather rare to see them here on the West Coast as someone passing through town. It can be a long, dangerous walk to find them at night time on the rough West Coast beaches. We hope you got to experience seeing the Blue Penguins and enjoyed the rest of your trip.
