Right beside library with a small playground.
Public toilets are said to be closed after 9pm however one of them was opened all night when I was there which was convenient. No showers though. Lighted up all night so make sure you have curtains. It’s right by the main road so the sound of cars can be distracting even after midnight, but if you’ve had a long drive that day, sleeping would not be an issue. Be prepared to wake up to children playing in the playground!

Nice and safe place with light all night.
There is only three spaces, you find the right carpark when you enter „st. John waiuku ambulance“ as t he address. Toilet says open until 9pm in summer and 7pm in winter but was open at 9:30pm in winter, probably the whole night. Portable water on the parking lot.

Library staff confirmed that SC vehicles can still park overnight in the car park.
They just havent put back the sign yet. However, they did warn of a recent incident where small stones were thrown at a parked van.
I've parked here four times in the past 12 months and had no problems. Wifi in the library, clean toilets across the road, tap water by the library, dump station across the road and a supermarket and shops just a stroll away. Don't be put off - this is okay for overnight parking.

Great site, dump station and free potable water.
Unfriendly locals who smashed my windscreen at 3am. Stay away

Relocated to just before the bridge only 2 spots now available but fantastic spots

The campsite is located directly on the street, so the traffic is accordingly loud at night, otherwise the space is sufficient for one night.
There is no proper seating. There are toilets, but these are from 9pm closed.

A bit hard to find as this app currently lists this site in two places (across from Z service station is not a camper park, it is only a dump station).
The Waiuku Service Centre freedom camp is located behind the service centre building, by the St John Ambulance building, opposite the toilets. Three parks are available, next to the parks for St John staff, max one night stay, vacate by 9am. We stayed on a Saturday night and had no issues. We were warned by the locals that the nearby fire brigade siren was tested at 7.30am on Sundays
