My family had so much fun exploring the different garden themes. Highly recommended.

Probably the best gardens you will ever see.
We went there when the weather was simply terrible but we still loved it.

By far the best thing in Hamilton (there is not much else in town to see).
Various countries represented and lots of native bush.

If you stay in Hamilton, you should definitely visit Hamilton Gardens.
To tell the truth it is the only thing to do in Hamilton, so its worth it.

Nice calm walk through the different gardens and around the lake.
Great place for a picnic.

An amazing free experience.
Lots of different types of garden from all different countries like England, China and Italy. Worth seeing.

Beautiful park with a variety of gardens, clean and tidy and a joy to walk through.
One of the nicest parks in the world. Regrettably I visited on an extremely hot day and didn't spend as long as I would have wished due to the heat.
A small camper van site would make a great addition and enable more time to be spent there.

I recommend it if you go through Hamilton, won't take too long.

Hamilton Gardens are a unique experience in New Zealand with many themed gardens and a stunning Maori garden just recently completed.
Need a couple of hours minimum to do them justice with a break for an ice cream in the middle.A must see if in Hamilton regardless of the time of year.
