  • Great campsite, a lot of permanent residents but they are friendly.

Easy to pay at $10 an adult and under 12’s free. We went because there were showers, $2 for 5 minutes, was long enough! Clean toilets too and rubbish disposal. Good for a stop outside Wanaka.

  • Really nice camping for 10$ per person.

Lots of clean toilets, hot shower for 2$ and great dishwashing sink. Arrived around 4pm and it was relatively full, so try not coming too late!

  • 10$ par adulte.

Terrains avec électricité pris par les permanents du camping.

Douches chaudes pour 2$ mais elles sont très sales (crottes d’oiseaux au sol et sur les murs, cafards morts). Quelques sandflies.

  • 10$ per person.

Access to hot showers for 2$. The campsite is directly on the sidelines of the cricket field and unfortunately has a lot of mosquitoes. Cheap laundry, clean place, large dish washing sink and every faucet has hot water which we loved.

  • We wanted a stop reasonably close to Cardrona.

This was fine. 10 dollars per person. Good hot showers and a recycling area. A lot of permanent people in vans. They were mostly on the other side of the cricket oval. People were friendly.

  • This was an interesting stay staying on a cricket ground but was absolutely fine.

There are some locals that stay there permanently I think but they were very friendly.

Make sure you have cash as you need to put cash in an envelope and post it through the door.

Showers are nice and hot at $2 - looked like the toilets and showers were pretty new and of good condition.

One outdoor sink to wash dishes.

Dumping site was closed when we were there.

V v cheap to stay so can’t complain!

  • We ended up staying 3 nights after stumbling upon the Cricket ground.

Great little spot to regroup after a few weeks on the road. Mixture of travellers and residents. The locals are incredibly friendly and helpful.

    - Showers require $2 coins to operate

    - Washing machine also $2 byo powder

    - No kitchen facilities, but none expected either for $10 each a night

    - USB charging available

    - Small communal fridge near the check-in if you’re in need

    - Self check-in at club rooms

Overall a great little spot close to Wanaka. Be respectful of the locals, it’s their home. And the cricketers who might turn up for training :)

  • Plenty of spaces (we went in the off season).

Clean toilets, showers available (coin operated) but we didn't use them so can't say what they were like. Close to a fantastic pub, 2min walk. Convenient spot for our journey

  • Great place.

Clean and great showers. Woman who runs it is hard case. Stayed two nights. They still play cricket here on Sundays. Quirky and close to pub.

  • Cute little spot with good hot showers ($2) and half the price of Wanaka proper.

Bit of a trailer park vibe but friendly and quirky. Good pub next door.

  • Really rude caretaker, who screamed at us twice in one day.

But showers and toilets are nice. That man was first rude pearson i met in NZ and i would never spent any other night there just because of him.
