Nice campsite, not a lot of tourists and a lot of permanent residents, however everyone seemed friendly.
The toilets and showers are outdated but clean. 25 for 2 people, powered, per night, so a great price. Kitchen with a lot of appliances and also table tenis and dart board. The sites are on nice green grass and all seem levelled. Would stay again.

Such lovely people running the place - we arrived and weren’t sure where to pay, but two separate people pointed us in the right direction, as well as wanted to have long chats.
Really cheap for unpowered site (cash only, but the garage up the road did cash back if your caught short). Toilets basic, showers basic looking but actually some of the best I’ve had in NZ! Would stay again.

The people managing the place are very friendly, as are all the other people that stay there more long-term! Had a very good time with them, they are very welcoming and kind.
Cheap to stay at as well, I had 12 dollars pppn for an unpowered site and stayed there for a month while I workrd. Plenty of room and all the facilities you need which are kept tidy. Kitchen has pots, pans and utensils, microwave, fridge and an oven. Showers are included (but we are asked to keep the time low) and the toilets are very clean.
Overall a fantastic place and I will definitely visit again sometime to reunite with the amazing peeps there.

I stayed here for a night on a non powered tent site plenty of room friendly staff well priced..

Great campsite, not modern or flash but they have all the facilities of a site charging five times the price and other than $3 to use the washing machine there are no other charges.
Large site with plenty of room and only 9km from Geraldine. Manager’s wife, Mrs Ryan, is super friendly and helpful.

Nice simple place, nice open minded Owner, everything you need is there.
We stayed after our landing in Christchurch with Jetlag and got to Tekapo the next day.

A very good stop before we heading to Lake Tekapo.
Owner was very nice. Total 5 of us with ours large campervan, we stay here with powerside with only $7 per person, which is very very good price. Clean kitchen, no limited time for hot water shower. Sheep is around, and play ground.

Nice tidy campground, $7 each for a powered site ($14 for 2 people), showers free & nice & hot.
Amenities are oldish but really clean. Managers are friendly & up for a chat. Great place for a stopover.

Very basic facilities, but excellent value given the super cheap rates (about $12 per site, per night, from memory).
Good supply of hot water to the showers :) and excellent chats with the lovely owners. Highly recommended for cheap no frills accommodation!

Hard to find in dark as co-ordinates provided are in correct but address on website is correct.
Big open field. Owner very nice. Toilet block and showers basic but hot water for free and unlimited time! Paid about $20 total for two people powered in van. A good stop down the coast before heading down or into Tekapo area
