We stayed at the self contained cabin, was a nightmare with a cockaroach in the bedding, half sized bed, poor Condensed carpets, old shabby chairs, a kettle with rust in the bottom. What a waste of our holiday and money.

Excellent place to stay. Peaceful and private. The staff are not only friendly and welcoming but went above and beyond to help us with getting another key cut in Taupo after we snapped our one in our car door. Thank you so much team!

Awesome place! Absolutely loved it! Beautiful and convenient location next to walks and visitor centre. Staff were super helpful providing information on local walks and facilities. Loved the little cafe on wheels and their tuck shop at reception where I could get energy bars for my walk! 👌🏽💖

We camped for a few nights while tramping in the area. Facilities were nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back to this one.

OKish place. Weather was horrendous when I stayed though which gave it a bit of a damp wet vibe everywhere. Close to hikes. Facilities could do with an upgrade. The stove tops are useless. Was easier to bring my own stove in and cook.

It was our favourite campervan park on the North Island. The sites are set in lovely trees and beside a river. The hosts were really lovely and you can get burgers onsite. Everything was clean and in working order. Kitchen had utensils along with anything else you might need. It’s close to a lot of different walks. Really enjoyed it.
