A lovely flat and simple walk. It’s out and back, so just go as far as you want and turn around. Nice views over the lake, and some points where you can access the lakefront beach if you want to paddle. If you have a couple of hours free in Te Anau this a pleasant way to spend them. (Also, stop at the small, but interesting bird sanctuary on the drive back into town)

Good walk, there is a bit of an uphill part through the woods which takes a bit long, but view of the valley makes it worth while.

Steep and long walk, no loop track, great view from the peak, early start = no other tourists. (11 hours from control gate)
