Tourist in my own country
Friendly greeting by a man working there but disgusting responses from an ill mannered woman when he wasn't around. I was enjoying my stay until she opened her mouth and ruined my day. Due to the bad experience I'm forced to rate it low.
Clean, wonderful, scenic, deep deep clear pool in the Buller, owner popped in with a mosquito coil, the big kids jump pillow is *the best* I’ve seen: 100.
Best showers in the South island, even though they cost $2. Laundry only $2. Use a bicycle for a quick trip into town. Fully equipped kitchen with magnificent view of the river.
Great spot to spend the night. The owner was very welcoming and we were able to choose our spot to park up. Kitchen is fully equipped, cutlery included (we had our own bits but nice to see this). Only down side is you had to pay for the showers, but they still work on cold for free which we didn't mind. Would be a fun spot over summer when it's warm enough for swimming.
Amazing little spot right on the river. Friendly American owner. Clean facilities decent showers ($2 coin) can't remember how much it was but think it was quite reasonable. Would stay again.

Great place, clean toilets/showers. Parked close to River and on gravel which was great as we had a lot of rain. Great river walks for dogs.
We arrived at night, the place is well signed and the owner really lovely.
Maybe due to the time of the year (13th Sept 2020) it's empty so we could choose where to park our campervan.
Kitchen is well equipped and clean. Toilets and showers ($2 for 10min) also clean.
Lots of birds and the river is just right there. I'd recommend!
Paid $18 for a powered site. Was 3rd to arrive so got to pick nearly from the lot
Bathrooms very clean and showers are hot. Laundry facilities available for $2 (shower $2 too), free wifi is great!
Would be a great place to stay over summer/warmer months and take advantage of the river and outdoors
