yep yep yep defo use them again made it so easy , had everything I could possibly need with a family for 4 travelling, kids where cozy n snug and warm, mum n dad happy happy, would definitely use them again, and I am a hard person to please !! when I first turned up to collect the van I thought oh god what have I done, as I drove away I could not of been more impressed with service the camper everything provided, happy family
We’ve just returned from a 10 day South Island trip in the Tui Trail Adventurer, where we visited Te Anau and the Catlins. The camper van was amazing to drive, nippy like a car but roomy enough to relax at night with a cold beer after our long hikes and activities. The van has USB charging points and a solar system so we were well equipped for unpowered sites. The van also comes with all the necessities one needs while camping, hot water bottles, pots and pans, linen and even dish soap. The communication and check in experience prior and during the hire was outstanding, they even recommended visiting the hot tubs down in the "Getaway Te Anau" campgrounds which we did, was so relaxing after a long day hiking.
We'd definitely hire off them again.
Thanks Tui and Team
This was a fantastic holiday at an awesome discounted rate. Something that should be considered for NZ citizens frequently. It was an awesome experience driving around seeing how beautiful NZ is. Pick up was a little slow and we waited around an hour as they were very busy with the school holidays. All in all I totally recommend hiring one of these things.
We hired the new Tui Adventurer 2+1 for a two week trip around the South Island. Really loved driving the Ford Transit Custom. Felt like driving a car and has all the safety features. Very peppy and yet economical. Didn't really notice the steep mountain passes.. Never had an issue free camping as the solar panel kept everything going . Only needed campsites to service the vehicle where this couldn't be done elsewhere. The diesel heater was a winner. Eying up the new Bunkie 4 berth to take away with some grandkids during the school holidays.
We had great trip around the bottom of the South Island in our Tui Camper for the school holidays. The vehicle was really comfortable and easy to drive, so much so that my wife and I shared the driving duties. The van was well equipped and everything worked as it should. The pick-up and drop off was a seamless transition and the staff were very professional. Many thanks for the experience.
Poor old van. Fridge did not work properly. Battery died several times. Tap was malfunctioning. Called them and described the problems and, when we were asking for money back, they said that we never contacted them about these issues and that we were just trying to get money. Someone broke into the van on our last night and they made us pay for the glass, 400 NZD. Still working the out with VISA to get our hard earned money back.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Incredibly good value. We hired the van for three months . The van was very well laid out for 2/3 people. The van was old so totally fair to expect the occasional issue but the important things such as bedding and internal features were spotless. During the three months we had one or two minor issues with the mechanics of the van but these were dealt with immediately by the office who booked us into nearby garages and then refunded us days lost. This was a perfect little van for travelling around an amazing country. The staff were always responsive and polite. We had a wonderful trip. Thank you to Jodene, Aaron and the rest of the team for your help!
