The best road trip we've had so far!!
The Kuga Camper was in a very good condition in terms of the engine and tyres were also good. Needed 10 l per 100 km . Only some issues in the van give us some reasons only give 9 out of 10 e.g. old whoppers or a rattle near the seat belt. You get what you've paid for and for that it was worth it and Happy the best rental company we could imagine.

Awesome location for camping and plenty of space.
It takes 1 hour to get to the Cove from here by feet. Staff could be a bit nicer and they do not have possibilities to sit inside to eat. A bit surprising for that price we've paid 26 NZD pp per night

Evans Bay Marina Carpark
Great place to go for a walk to Mt Victoria and further to city centre.
From there take the bus back. Facilities are 200m from camping sites and they are also very popular so don't go there to late and respect the restrictions in terms of where to park.

One of the best Top10 Site we've been with awesome facilities and situated in a gorgeous valley where the sunlight illuminates the surrounding mountains.
56 NZD for 2 persons per night incl a complimentary shuttle to Queenstown

Easy to find, very good facilities which are closed in the night.
Directly at the water but very rare parking spaces for campers.

Best place to discover the 90 miles beach by bus as you will be picked up from here when booking with Sand Safaris.
Awesome spot to make a morning run from here. Facilities are great with good music in the toilets.

Great place to go to Lake Matheson and the glacier.

Hillview Camping Stay
This place cannot be beaten so easily.
The staff is so friendly and the service not from the earth. The beach walk was unforgettable with a big seal coming out of the water right in front of us. Great facilities and only 20 NZD pp per night.

Thanks Michael, appreciate your feedback. We are just a 15 minute walk to water taxis into the Abel Tasman park, or a 20 minute car drive to Marahau where you can begin your walk into the Park.

It has been one of our best stays in entire NZ.
A bit off the famous routes but every minute worth it you drive longer to get here. Great cafe with awesome muffins as well as a top10 bucket list of things to do in that beautiful area. Stunning sunsets which I you can enjoy with self-made pizza in the stone oven. 2 nights for 24 NZD pp in a campervan.
